TGIF!

YAY! ITS FRIDAY!
and i have to say it was a pretty good one....

So my ipod nano broke recently and ive been dying without it. i love listening to music in my car! sometimes ill ignore calls just because i want to finish jamming out to a sweet beat lol which i guess is a good thing because apparently now its illegal to drive & be on the phone at the same time. anyways... i have been pleading with keenan to get me a new ipod but because they are literally hundreds of dollars it would be a financial goof-up if we went out and bought one. but the good Lord stepped in! my mom is obsessed with apple stuff shes got the laptop, iphone, ipad, and over the years has collected 4 or more ipods of all variations. well long story short i asked if she had one that she didnt use anymore and she did! so today i picked it up, brought the little guy home and put all of my funky tunes on it!! except the only songs i listened to all day was "tired of toein the line" by rocky burnette and "bulletproof" by la croux. it had me cheesin ear to ear all day :)

we found out that keenan starts training for his new position at Fidelity Aug. 2! which is good & bad. bad because we cant take our florida trip for a while. good because i can officially go back to school in the fall AND go part time at work (WOOO HOOO!!). hes really bummed about not being able to go to florida but its good bc we'll have more time to save up and splurge on doing cool things like snorkeling when we do go.

with help from andrea domec i have become better at the decorating of my blog. its so much more attractive than from when i first started it...last night. ok so i have little patience and get hooked on things really easilly..so what. but thank you andrea!! you are a blog saver! & Picasa is my new friend. Picasa is this sweet photo editor thingy made by google. i clicked on one of the buttons and finally after 3 years of having this laptop got my webcam to work! so i took a picture capturing my excitement...

i also have a cafe vanilla with 2 shots of espresso from *$ in me (get it? *star$bucks).

leadership was tonight. i swear braylen domec and lucy davis are going to fall in love. or at least braylen is eventualy going to fall in love with her very soon if he hasnt already (he gave her a hug tonight) "young life" babies are by far the coolest kids ever! this guy from lexington came to speak and he talked about john 15 and God pruning us. cutting off branch that dont bear fruit. i feel that the Lord is going to do something soon. i know he will. i have been very comfortable for a while in my walk with him. i dont spend alot of time being w him. all of the other aspects of life seem to have taken over. he showed me tonight that i need to reboot basically, i need to stop letting things like work, tv, shopping, and internet take over me and allow his Spirit to. hm... but when will i have the time?? jk im sure he will guide me through this journey of re-discovering him. i know he is with me always and that alone is comforting.

like i said. today was a good friday. im going with emily, her mom, and a few bridesmaids tomorrow to look at stuff for her wedding coming up next june!! im so excited for her & chris! yay weddings!!!
