hello all. time to play "ketchup" again.
a few weekends ago keenan and i went to washington dc. the trip was awesome! we got to see alot of cool things and actually got a good work out in it as well. thanks to the Dorsey's we biked around dc and saw everything we wanted to!! im not going to list it because we really did see everything lol...in only 2 days. and as a bnous we ate at the most amazing restaurants. all in all it was so fun being with my husband and going on an adventure together. here are a few snapshots of the trip...
i also turned the big but not so big 22 last monday. it was a good day. very restful and not stressful. i learned a couple years ago that you shouldnt have great expectations or high hopes for birthdays because you will be let down and thats not fun to be sad on your birthday. so i didnt expect anything and i got everything i could ask for.
on my bday i had school and keenan had to work. after school i ran some errands and then went to olive garden to get some carry out to have dinner when keenan got home. i walked in the door and all the lights were off, candles lit everywhere, the table set with flowers on it, romantic soft music playing in the back ground, and my sweet sweet husband- dressed so handsome and a big smile on his face. YUP i balled like a baby. how could you not? it was so sweet! we had dinner together and THEN he made a pad on the floor with blankets & pillows & we watched the movie rain man. it was so great! i love you keenan so much and am so grateful for the way you love me!
babies....i would really like one lol. keenan and i were sitting at our kitchen table that has recently been changed into a desk lol. we started talking about really wanting to buckle down and budget for a house. that then led into babies. id really like one...two...mmm three....ok four would be fun!! basically i envision finger paintings everywhere! there are so many babies in our leadership so i was playing with baby sam davis tonight and keenan gave me a look from across the room...it was a sweet look. he brought it up in the car and he says which should happen first..a house or a baby? and i said either one would be great! if the Lord wants to bless us with a child then we will certainly accept!!!! but i will be patient for His good timing. i want a house and a baby so the order doesnt really matter to me.
tomorrow is kayla's baby shower and its going to be great to see her and im excited for her to be home and surrounded by the people that love her most. other tasks that are overloading the to-do list is laundry (bout 3 weeks of it) major studying and family fun.
