happenings

this weekend was a good one. it was full of friends like these guys

 

can i just say that i love love love my leader team and my bible study! they are all fun amazing Godly people and i love them!!

i had to work saturday which was a bummer but not that bad because we were pretty busy so it went by fast...im looking forward to working more actually because i REEAALLY want a house lol and you need money to do that. when i got off work i came home in hopes that keenan and me would do something fun for a change instead of sitting on our butts lol. lo and behold we found something... two words... 

LUX LEVEL

that right baby! we were going to see "the kings speech" WHILE relaxing in jumbo leather seats & eating some good 'ol burgers. the Good Lord had a different plan for us though. when we got there they said that kings speech was offered in lux level at 5:35 NOT 7:10. if you know me you can imagine i was not a happy camper. ya see i dont like changing plans or something to ruin plans that i have made...im not really a go with the flow gal. im a stick to the plan gal! which im learning i need to change if im going to have children someday. im sure all the mothers out there are responding to that statement by saying "mmm hmmm" in a harmonious tune lol. (ps- is it ok to put "lol" in blogs?)

{side note: my husband is playing a war game on xbox live w his friends and said the following, and i quote... "i just flashed 'em" im sure that means something completely different than what i was thinking but it was still funny to hear}

so we came home from the theater pretty disappointed. but instead we ordered pizza and watched "the town" in our snuggly little apartment. it was a really good movie..im always game for ben affleck though lol. but it really was a good movie!

sunday: we slept in...no church. i heard my alarm yelling at me at 8:11 and i couldnt move my body...SO TIRED! i was so pleased to hear my husband say it was ok to play hookie this week. so we layed in bed until 11 {i love those days with him} as you already know i like to plan. "what are we going to do today?" i asked him...he told me to guess what he was saying (he was talking with his mouth closed so it sounds like humming) its a game we play lol anyways.... he said lets go to ikea and you wanna know what i did? I WAS BOUNCING FOR JOY! i love love love ikea! so we walked around for 2 hours and furnished our entire "house" in our heads. but we did find something that we both love that also was not nearly as $$$$ as we thought...

i found the second picture online from someone that had it so you could tell what she really can do...aint she a beaut!

so after ikea we got smoothie king, headed home, had some homemade 3 ways. and now im typing to you.

oh. heres another thing that we are getting very soon ) i ordered it tonight. we are excited about diving into a good book.
