i hate having the option of "title-ing" posts. not good at it.

hellooo blogger land!

its been a long time. and i am so excited to share some great happenings that have been going on with the Kruskamps (us). you already know we moved into the house. keenan and i took a vacation this week in order to get stuff done around the house. mostly painting. and im sure glad thats over with. im not a big fan of painting. or maybe it was just the fact that the house was a complete mess while we were doing that. either way it sucked. but here are the results and they are beautiful if i do say so myself.

is it just me or is this way too many outlet plates?

 AFTER'S:

hope you like it better than the ugly greens and if not then your color blind. lol jk.

{in other news} me and keenan also celebrated our first year of being married :). sunday the 10th was our 1 year anniversary and he took me to the most romatic sweet place i have ever been to.

this place is amazing! ill share something with you about me... i LOVE LOVE LOVE musicals. my mother raised me on them and i have been in love with them since i was 4. i remember putting on my moms old fancy dazzled ballet leotards and costumes and singing along with the actors in "seven brides for seven brothers" and "Oklahoma" and even giving the bed post a little smooch to finish the scene lol. anyways. so keenan took me to "Vito's Cafe" in ft. thomas. its an italian & singing restaurant. all of the servers are in school for performing arts trying to make their way to the spotlight. it was magical! they are all amazing singers. they would take turns singing whatever song they chose (broadway/opera) along with a live jazz pianist who was also amazing by the way. anyways YOU SHOULD GO! that is if you like singing servers. the food is fantastic! it is a bit pricey though. we will probably only go there for very special occasions.

okay so i have to brag a little more about my sweet sweet husband. he had these gorgeous flowers sent to the restaurant so they would be there when we sat down. so romantic. good move love!

tuesday i had to go to my loony foot dr. to get an ingrown toenail removed. it hurt. but i was entertained...but so was my husband and my dr. let me show you

...yes. keenan and my loony dr. played tic-tac-toe while waiting for my toe to be completely numb. he also drew on my tattoo (which he also took a picture of last week for his "tattoo album" of all his patients tattoos..weird) and signed his autograph. quite intersting.

we played hide & seek the other day because of boredom. and mostly because my husband was dying to play! here were our best hiding spots. i actually won because of mine.

im behind the platstic drawers and the coats lol. I WIN!

our vacation is almost over but that doesnt mean the fun has to stop. today my mom and dad came over. mom taught me how to sew a bit and dad played xbox with keenan lol. it was great "bonding time" with them.

yup. thats my dad playing call of duty with keenan haha. while the men were on sniper missions, my mom and i were sewing...thats right she taught me how to use the sewing machine! i am soo excited because now i can make these..

arent they super cute! i made both of them all by myself :)! maybe soon ill be a whiz at it and open my own ETSY shop..wow that would be so cool.

hope you enjoyed all the pictures. thats my favorite part about blogs anyway. i never really read other "famous" bloggers posts (except for young house love) i just like looking at the pictures.

back to work on monday :( blah. life goes on.
i hope you all had a super great week minus all the rain and have a great sunday.
ps- sorry if i just vomited my whole life onto you in this post.
