no more peeking

when i was younger my family and i lived in houston. the front of our house (aka my bedroom windows) over looked to the side of our weird neighbors house across the street. my dad and i would get the binoculars and spy on them. i know it sounds creepy but to a 12 yr. old with her dad it was awesome and funny! {ps we never saw anything like a murder or burglary, just saw what they were watching on their big screen} well since mine and keenans house sits on a hill, we can look into our neighbors houses and they can also look into our upstairs window. so to prevent karma from happening i finally made the cafe curtains!

i would do a tutorial but i didn't take any pictures and to be honest ill never make curtains again. the patterned bottom border was the suckiest part of the job. if you DONT look close enough you probably CANT tell that the borders aren't the same size lol and thats because i got tired and slacked off. the whole project took about 2 hours and cost a total of $15. there are a ton of tutorials on {pinterest}. again my picture isn't that beautiful but you'll get the idea.

heres the view from the window...

im satisfied. now the neighbors can't peek.

oh! and i completely forgot to mention samantha&aarons wedding last weekend! SO FUN! SO EMOTIONAL! and SO HOT! lol but all in all it was amazing and beautiful!

soo is anyone ready for fall? I AM! {and so is hobby lobby..they're ready for fall & christmas. kinda of ridiculous actually haha}
