tis the season

there have been many updates in the Kruskamp household lately. a few are coming up soon that we are still praying about but i will keep you updated. but here are the following recent exciting updates...

1) our christmas tree is up! im not sure why the picture is sideways

because i made sure to rotate it when i was editing it but oh well

just turn your head. i found a perfect tree skirt too! $40 at hobby

lobby. we also just got an "our first christmas ornament" im not a big

precious moments person but i couldnt pass this one up especially

because it was the cutest out of the other two options.

2) we had the 837959 annual yl christmas party this past friday and boy did we clean up! best white elephant gift i have ever gotten! aint she a beaut! thanks to the gautrauds we welcomed this new cabinet to our home. it has totally made the living room look a bit more matchy now the xbox doesnt have to be on the floor with the sea of cords on the floor. really- you should have seen this spot before with the other cabinet. this looks a ton better! im am so pleased...and it came with $10!

3) our first snow of the season was this past saturday! i should have taken a picture. we got 3 inches!! yay december!!

4) i am oficially enrolled back in school at northern. feels good. im ready to be done with this.

5) the cops came to our apt. complex last night..intense! its never happened since we have lived here. outside you can hear if someones knocking on anyones door so we heard it last night (this was around 8pm) and thought nothing of it. until the knocking became banging and then there was yelling added to it. keenan went down the steps and asked the neighbor lady if everything was ok...she said she was locked out by her boyfriend and her son (who i think is about 8) was in the bath tub. keenan says "ok" lol and walks back up. this went on for about 5 more mins. then we heard her saying she was going to cal the cops...then she yelled "he hit me he slap me in the face you are going to jail" it was nuts. so we saw her car pull out and 15 min later that cops show up (we are watching this from our peep hole in the door) the neighbor guy has his shirt off while talking to the cop. we left it alone and this morning her car was back, so who knows what happened. but it was nuts.
